Information we collect

• Account information. When you sign in with Discord, we receive information from your Discord profile, such as your user ID, username, avatar and email address.
• Discord server information. We store access tokens from Discord that let us see the list of servers you belong to and your permissions in them. We use this only to show which servers you can add sounds to, and we don't store the list itself. When you add a sound to a server, our bot uploads it to that server's soundboard and Discord records your name in the server's audit log. We keep a record of which sound you added, the server's Discord ID and when, to limit abuse and see which sounds are popular.
• Content you provide. Text you submit to generate audio, the audio generated for you, and any feedback you send us.
• Usage information. Information about how you access and use the Service, such as pages viewed, features used, downloads, device and browser type, and IP address. We collect this information automatically using cookies and similar technologies.

How we use information

We use the information we collect to:

• provide, operate and maintain the Service
• authenticate you and manage your account
• detect, prevent and address abuse, security issues and violations of our Terms of Service
• respond to your requests and feedback
• analyze usage and improve the Service
• comply with legal obligations

Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing, we rely on the performance of our agreement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, your consent, and compliance with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share personal information only as follows:

• Service providers. With vendors that provide services on our behalf, such as hosting, data storage, AI audio generation and analytics. These providers may only use your information to provide services to us. Our analytics providers include Google Analytics.
• Legal requirements. When we believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, or protect the rights, property or safety of our users, the public or us.
• Business transfers. In connection with a merger, sale or transfer of all or part of the Service.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to understand how the Service is used. You can set your browser to block or delete cookies, but some parts of the Service, such as signing in, may not function properly.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We may retain certain information longer where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements.

Age requirement

The Service is intended only for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

We and our service providers may process your information in countries other than the one in which you live, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, we take steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection.
